We all know it’s hard to eat healthy on busy schedules, I’ve been there! Especially being a college student, on a college budget. Healthy convenient food is so expensive! So I decided to make my own on the go, clean lunch. I’ve been consistently eating this every other day and it has enough macros to keep me satisfied..and the best part about it, I feel so healthy 🙂
For those of you that don’t know what I mean by “macros”, Its official name is macronutrients. This is your basic substance in food that’s for the body, protein, carbs, and fat. In my posts, I will always refer this as macros because the goal for my meals are having enough of them so others and myself can be satisfied!
As for beauty, the cucumbers, and spices are the beneficial ingredients for your skin. Cucumbers are perfect for getting that glow, according to nutrition expert Brittany Linn,. Cucumbers offer about “96% of water per serving!” Also, it prevents water retention and fights inflamed skin. Tumeric is a spice that’s also great for the skin. It has tons of anti-inflammatory properties and antioxidants to protect the skin as well. Also known to bring out your glow, due to its high curcumin content. This is a yellow chemical made in some plants, also in the ginger root, so no need to get freaked out by this chemical. It’s harmless and very beneficial for your skin. You can also use turmeric on your face. I mix it with honey and greek yogurt but be careful! Do not put too much or it’ll stain your face..if you’re as pale as me. But if you have a more olive toned skin and darker, you can get away with using more.
If you have any questions regarding the DIY turmeric mask, email me and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible!

On the side, I had my GoodStuff juice Pirate Shine for some extra energy. This will also give your skin a nice glow. All the vitamins and minerals in this juice will help protect your skin from harmful molecules. I’ll always have juice on the side for any lunch, it’s such a quick and convenient way to get those everyday vitamins and minerals you need. Instead of taking vitamin pills, I drink juice to get my nutrients.
